You see, when the Word of God is read, studied, and learned, then the Holy Spirit of God will remind the child of God about the truth of God which will then lead to attitudes and behaviors that resemble those belonging to the Son of God and which ultimately please God the Father.

So, okay, we recognize this is quite a mouthful, but read it again (slowly) and think about it:

When the Word of God is read, studied, and learned

~then the Holy Spirit of God will remind the child of God

~about the truth of God

~which will then lead to attitudes and behaviors that resemble those belonging to the Son of God

~and which ultimately please our Father God.

This is a large part of abiding in Jesus just as Jesus did with the Father.

John 14-16

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, do not shout back.

Love.

Abide in Jesus and be like Jesus.

My dear fellow Christ followers, please quit fighting for your rights.

The unborn’s, yes.

The trafficked, yes.

The Mom’s and Dad’s, yes.

The disenfranchised, yes.

The pre-born-again, yes.

The DUI losses, yes.

The poor, yes.

The oppressed, yes.

The alien children, yes.

The foster children, yes.

The confused, yes.

The traumatized, yes.

The…, yes.

But not yours. In Christ our cheeks can endure much. Love. Pray. Reach. Like Jesus does.

Let me try again…

If you yoke Jesus with the RIGHT, it’s sin.

If you yoke Jesus with the LEFT, it’s sin.

Do we still need more proof that both the left and right are straight paths to hell? Immediately after the tragedy of the Uvaldy school, the republicans demonized the democrats for “screaming gun control” before families could catch a breath. Today the democrats are demonizing the republicans for “screaming border control” in reference to the San Antonio truck before the horror even has a chance to set in. What will it take for everyone to finally say “enough” to this political machine? As for me, I choose to utterly reject it and choose instead to utterly serve a love motivated Savior.
