You see, when the Word of God is read, studied, and learned, then the Holy Spirit of God will remind the child of God about the truth of God which will then lead to attitudes and behaviors that resemble those belonging to the Son of God and which ultimately please God the Father.

So, okay, we recognize this is quite a mouthful, but read it again (slowly) and think about it:

When the Word of God is read, studied, and learned

~then the Holy Spirit of God will remind the child of God

~about the truth of God

~which will then lead to attitudes and behaviors that resemble those belonging to the Son of God

~and which ultimately please our Father God.

This is a large part of abiding in Jesus just as Jesus did with the Father.
